Wilson Waters Forrester Memorial Scholarship
The Wilson Waters Forrester Memorial Scholarship helps raise awareness about the growing tragedy in this country of accidental drug/alcohol overdoses that are claiming the lives of bright young men and women, as their lives are just beginning. It is the family’s hope that these funds will provide scholarship assistance and meaning for the tragic and senseless loss of the Forrester’s loved one, Wilson Waters Forrester. Wilson Forrester, son of Alice and Chip Forrester and brother of Evan, died of an accidental drug/alcohol overdose on April 2, 2011 at the University of Arizona. A 2009 graduate of Hume-Fogg High School, Wilson was known for his standout ability on the soccer field, guitar talents, and easy-going demeanor. The Fund will provide one or more scholarships to attend an accredited post-secondary school benefiting Hume-Fogg graduating seniors with a preference for an outstanding male or female soccer player and/or a musician in good academic standing.
